New gas valve on a conventional flue gas AGA DC3

The gas valve on an AGA DC3 in Droitwich was letting by. Ian fitted a new one, ran the Regulation 26(9) checks and put the cooker back into service.

In Ian's words

The gas valve on this conventional flue AGA DC3 in Droitwich was passing, or letting by. Gas could still get through when the valve should have been shut off.

I took the valve out of the oven and did some gas testing, then fitted the new one and put the burner back together. After my usual tests, including the Regulation 26(9) checks, the AGA went back into service.
