Who is responsible for your details

What the form collects
Your name, phone number and postcode, the fuel type of your cooker, a description of the job and, if you choose to add it, your email address. Ian uses them to ring you back about your enquiry and to arrange and carry out the work. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
Who else handles them
The form is sent to Ian as an email, with a short text message to his mobile so he sees it sooner. If you add your email address, Postmark also sends you one email to confirm Ian has your request. It isn't used for anything else. The website is hosted by Vercel, the email is delivered by Postmark and the text by Twilio. TypeSafe reads your message first to screen out sales pitches, which don't reach Ian. Before the form sends, Cloudflare Turnstile uses technical details from your browser to check that a person is filling it in. Turnstile can't see what you type into the form. These companies process your details only to run this site and deliver the messages. Your details are not sold or used for marketing.
How long they are kept
Ian keeps enquiry emails for 12 months and job records for 6 years.
Cookies
This website does not set cookies or use analytics. The spam check on the form runs on Cloudflare's servers.
Your rights
You can ask to see the details Ian holds about you, have them corrected or deleted, or object to how they are used. Ring Ian on 07931 920662 to ask. If you are unhappy with how your details have been handled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
